Role Description

The role of the Marketing Assistant is to provide excellent marketing assistance to the Gazprom Energy Marketing & Communications team. They will add value to the team by fulfilling support tasks efficiently and effectively and by contributing ideas and making recommendations that help the team and the business reach their objectives.

Based in Gazprom Energy’s head office in central Manchester the Marketing Assistant will work on projects and tasks at both corporate and local level across our four strands of marketing and communications;

Market Intelligence
Market research and analysis I Competitor analysis

Brand Awareness
PR | Events and exhibitions | Marketing collateral | Social media | Sponsorship | Awards | Advertising

Customer Acquisition & Retention
Marketing campaigns | Digital marketing | Corporate hospitality | Newsletters

Customer Insight
Customer feedback and satisfaction programme

Other
Employee engagement | Internal communications | Purchasing administration | Budget management

Skills & abilities

• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines
• Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an understanding of the importance of team spirit
• Excellent writing & proofreading skills
• A curious creative mind, & isn’t afraid to suggest ideas
• Passionate about excellent customer service
• Able to work within limited timeframes and budgets when required
• Able to work independently and manage projects
• Competent in Microsoft Office, particular PowerPoint and Excel

Qualifications

• You must currently be enrolled on a university course which allows you to complete a 12 month industrial placement year as an integral part of your course
• Ideally you will be studying a course that includes Marketing
• You should also be on target to achieve a minimum of 2:1
