Job Purpose

Responsible for elements of Porsche Centre Hospitality Programme delivery within the Porsche Motorsport Department, and to work with internal teams to assist in the management and delivery of events.

Core Responsibilities:

  • To implement and deliver the Porsche Centre Motorsport Hospitality Programme
  • Collate hospitality package in conjunction with PCMS – tickets, info packs, goody bags
  • Prepare Porsche Centre costings per event
  • Arrange payment for the packages via internal invoicing structure
  • Co-ordinate hospitality allocation to relevant Centres around the UK
  • Deliver the event and host guests at the Circuit
  • Event interdepartmental liaison
  • Assisting in production of working documents for each event, distribution throughout the team ensuring accuracy and understanding from each party.
  • Key point of contact for clients during the events.
  • Liaison with external suppliers with joint event responsibility.
  • Resource planning.
  • Input to PCGB systems, raising invoices, Purchase orders etc
  • Liaison with PCGB departments.

Please note - Travel is required during Motorsport season - March-October
Will need to work 8 race weekends throughout the UK and Scotland plus other related events.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a talented and hardworking individual for our August 2016 programme that will play a fundamental role in day-to-day tasks, events and the race season giving you the opportunity to make a real contribution to our organisation and gain invaluable work experience. Candidates should be undergraduates looking for a placement year in their 3rd year of study and ideally studying towards an events management or motorsport related degree, have strong IT Skills and be highly competent in spoken and written English.

Please note – Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be 21 years old+ and a full clean driving license held for a minimum of 2 years is essential.

We offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday, daily food allowance and a bus pass in the Reading area.
