Job Purpose

To support the Owner Services Business Development Manager in development and implementation of Service marketing programmes and targeted communications to increase Porsche service and parts market share in the UK and drive overall Aftersales commercial performance- turnover and profitability

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement national and localised marketing and sales actions for Aftersales products and services to foster loyalty, improve sales and profit
  • Interpret local market opportunity and performance data to recommend Centre local marketing and sales activity
  • Co-ordinate creation of marketing support materials, and retailer communications to support Aftersales programs.
  • Support the field team in implementation of aftersales sales and marketing actions in Centres
  • Liaise with marketing, design and communications agencies and other suppliers to secure the production of aftersales programmes.
  • Monitor and report programme and resultant aftersales commercial performance and develop marketing response to improve
  • Use the Porsche Service Marketing System (PSMS) and Porsche Retail Service Pricing Tool (PRSPT) to identify and quantify market opportunity and prepare price based propositions to increase sales

Key Projects

  • Porsche Classic Development Project
  • October 16 – August 17
  • Identify and implement a strategy to specifically promote and support the 4 UK Porsche Classic Partner Centre’s. Define and lead the conclusion of the 2015/2016 Porsche Cars Great Britain Classic Restoration Programme including the final event, the promotion of the project in paid and unpaid media and coordinating the awards delivery for the competition winners
  • Online Service Booking
  • October 16 - March 17
  • Carry out a review of the current online service booking systems in use by the Porsche Centre network. Evaluate the requirements for a consistent national method of providing this service. Document the service description and requirements brief and identify the most appropriate suppliers to approach for instigating this service
  • Porsche ‘Drop in Clinic’
  • October 16 – December 16
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of a regular service clinic held by each Porsche Centre on a regular basis that enables customers to access Porsche technical advice and support without obligation or commitment. The clinic would provide the Porsche network with a chance to engage with Porsche owners, deliver a brand appropriate experience and showcase their capabilities

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an outgoing, socially competent individual who is willing to learn but also to be flexible and someone who is able to present to audiences and build relationships with Porsche Centre staff. The successful candidate will have good communication, planning and prioritising skills. Our Marketing and Business Analysis Placement will give you the chance to make a real contribution to our organisation and gain invaluable work experience. Candidates should be undergraduates looking for a placement year in their 3rd year of study and ideally studying towards a Marketing or Business Studies degree, have strong IT Skills and be confident in spoken and written English. Knowledge of German would be advantageous but is not compulsory.
