Summer Internships
Our Summer Placements provide a network of high-quality training opportunities across the UK. The placements are open to university degree students in the penultimate year of study. This is a chance to build commercial acumen and technical expertise through practical, first-hand experience in the front line of our business operations. Students can also apply for our Graduate Programmes on completion of the Summer Placement.
Our 2016 Summer Placements are available in: Contract Logistics, International Freight Forwarding, HR, Finance, Marketing and Customer Excellence.
Placements last 10 weeks and will start in mid June 2016. After induction, it’s straight into the live operational experience of the placement. There’s lots of support and students will be part of our trainee community hub, sharing information and building their network across the company.
Candidate requirements
Candidates must be on track to achieve a 2:2 or higher in their degree, plus have five GCSEs Grade A-C (including English & Maths) or equivalent.
A full UK driving licence and access to transport are also essential.
In return you’ll receive a salary of £17,500 pro-rata and a benefits package.
We’re looking for confident and talented candidates with good communication and team working skills. If you’re ambitious, commercially-driven and eager to show what you can do, this is a great way to gain hands-on experience with one of the UK’s leading logistics organisations.
