The Team

Disney's corporate team supports creative, technology and business priorities across the entire company in the UK & Ireland. With a portfolio that spans television, leisure and travel, movies, live entertainment, music, product / licensing, retail, gaming and online amongst others, this team has the opportunity to experience the full breadth and scope of The Walt Disney Company. The team works at the heart of Disney's businesses, in a wide range of fields including Strategic Marketing, Corporate Communication, Shared Accounting and Finance, HR, IT and Sourcing & Procurement.

Your role

We offer a number of HR Placements - in Learning & Development, Employee Services and Generalist areas. The Walt Disney Company has multiple business areas, both internally facing (e.g. IT, Security) and externally facing (e.g. Disney Channel, Parks and Resorts, Studios etc.). The HR Operations team supports approximately 1500 employees mainly based in Hammersmith. The UK HR team consists of HR Shared Services which includes Recruitment, Employee Services and UK Compensation and Benefits, UK Learning and Development. Based in the UK we also have the EMEA Compensation and Benefits, International HRIS, EMEA Learning and Development and The Disney Store HR teams.

About you

• MUST be an undergraduate returning to full time education in September 2017
• MUST have the existing right to work in the UK
• Be studying towards a related degree e.g. HR or Business with a HR module
• Demonstrate a passion for the HR function in a commercial business
• Excellent attention to detail and general PC skills
• An ability to pick up skills and business information quickly and form successful working relationships.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in gaining HR experience with the world’s largest Entertainment company!
