You will be trained on how to successfully project manage orders and although you will be assisted by your team leader, you will be empowered to take responsibility of the management of orders.

This position holds a high degree of responsibility, as any failings in management of orders, could mean losing new and current clients.

You will liaise with other teams within the business and learn how to manage clients and internal supply chains to ensure on time delivery at the high levels of service our company expects. These teams will support you in your customer orders.

There will be telephone and email contact with clients and suppliers on a daily basis to ensure orders run smoothly and there will be a requirement to manage your time effectively, ensuring that all incoming enquiries are dealt with promptly and effectively.

Day-to-day duties and activities will normally include: project managing current orders, supplier purchase ordering, liaising with domestic and overseas clients and suppliers on current orders, proofing orders; ensuring orders are completed and delivered on time, resolving problems fast and efficiently if they arise, keeping the project management database up to date and customer satisfaction research. There will be a requirement to deal with Invoices for the clients as well as from the suppliers as well, working closely with the Accounts team ensuring they have up to date information. You will also be required to develop current job management processes and procedures.

Essential requirements:

• Excellent English
• Have an interest in small business
• Ability to work professionally, quickly & accurately whilst under pressure
• Ability to communicate with accuracy & clarity in both verbal & written English

Desirable attributes:

• Previous experience in a commercial office/business environment would be an advantage.
• Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator experience would also be advantageous.

Remuneration details:

• Accommodation in a 4 bedroom shared house is provided. You will be living with no more than 3 other students whom will also be on internships within the company.
• All bills, including your travel to and from work, are paid for by the company.
• Secure wireless internet is provided at each house.
• An allowance of £150 per fortnight is paid to cover subsistence.

The successful candidate will work in a relaxed semi-formal office environment.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
