Customer and Marketing Summer Internship
Our summer internship is all about making the most of your opportunities. It has been carefully put together to challenge you, but at the same time offer all the support you need at the start of your career. As well as hands on experience you will have access to development events, a buddy to support you during the programme and beyond and a placement manager to provide structured feedback.
We are passionate about helping our customers achieve their long-term goals, whether it is saving in their first job, or in retirement. Our aim is to be the customer’s first choice for their life savings.
Customer and Marketing are proud to be at the forefront of Standard Life’s strategy. We have specialist teams responsible for our marketing, insight, internal communications, PR and public affairs activities.
We create exciting relevant experiences for our audiences. We use the latest marketing and communications tools, informed by a wealth of customer data and insight.
The latest addition to our team is our own marketing agency, 56°. They help our business partners by creating compelling marketing campaigns.
Our 10 week internship will provide you with a good insight into the breadth or work we do.
Many of our interns are offered a role on our graduate programme the following year. You will get a competitive reward package and support towards accommodation in Edinburgh – right in the middle of the Edinburgh Festivals.

Entry requirements: You need to be on track for a 2:1 degree and be in your penultimate year at university.
