About the role

From hands-on technical IT roles to Project Management and Business Analysis, our one year IT placements represent the diversity of our IT department and provide excellent exposure to a number of key business areas.
We have 12 months placements in the following areas of our IT team:
IT Project Support Office – tasks may include producing monthly reports that analyse various aspects of IT delivery and content to analysing resource requirements for IT projects.
HR & Finance Project Support Office – focussed on supporting our central business functions on tasks such as producing monthly reports that analyse various aspects of IT delivery and content to analysing resource requirements for IT projects.
Digital Design & Development – you will be involved in the development and maintenance of our web estate, provide support and training for our web authors and be involved in projects such as changing or upgrading various corporate software tools.
IT Enterprise Architecture - this opportunity offers significant exposure to senior management. You may be involved in coordinating significant projects and work streams such as Strategic 5 year plans, key IT principle and standards and emerging technologies within Allianz and IT.
Social Media & Mobile Technology - This role will work with a team focussed on the technology side behind social media and work on the cutting edge of mobile technologies within IT and Insurance.
IT Portfolio & People Management Team - you will work closely with all areas within Systems Development focused on Talent Management and ensuring we have the right people with the right skills working on the right projects at the right time.
Corporate MIS Team - In this role, you will be involved in the testing, implementation, support and maintenance of our MIS applications infrastructure across all environments and platforms.
IT Quality Assurance – We use our own development methodology which is applicable to all types of software development called ACDM. You will help customers with the use of ACDM activities and administrate our process of measuring project productivity

What we look for
- On course for a 2:1 or above in any degree discipline
- Minimum 300 UCAS points (or equivalent)
