About the role

Our actuaries partner with our business divisions to influence every decision we make from how much to charge for a single policy to how much to pay for a potential acquisition.

Our Actuarial summer internship runs over 9 weeks and will help you to develop your skills, gain insightful practical experience and make more informed decisions about your future career.

The internship will involve a mix of project work and operational tasks and past interns have been involved in areas such as modelling motor pricing policies based on a number of variables to conducting statistical reviews of claims made by our customers.

You’ll get plenty of support and adaptability, flexibility and enthusiasm will be key to your success. You’ll have a line manager who will agree objectives for your internship to assist you in reaching your aspirations as well as a graduate buddy to help you settle in.

What we look for

  • On course for a 2:1 or above in a numerate or business related degree
  • Minimum 340 UCAS points (or equivalent)
  • A level Maths at grade A or above (or equivalent)
