About the programme

On this six to 12-month programme you’ll gain practical experience on real-life assignments that will test you like never before. Along the way, you’ll work alongside some true experts and be taught valuable skills. Beyond on the job technical training, you’ll get exposure to project management and other transferable skills. What you’ll do

As an intern, you’ll be assigned a technical engineer as your line manager, so you’ll be learning directly from a skilled professional. All of the projects you work on will support of a real business need, with a direct link to our products and customers. It makes for a fantastic opportunity to contribute, share your ideas and make a difference. Your day to day tasks will vary, but will be technical in focus and you’ll receive support from a number of different people within the business, all committed to helping you to deliver your best.

What you’ll need

We’re looking for people who’ll be happy to share their ideas about how we can do things even better, so we’ll want to see great communication skills developed through well-rounded life experience – academically, socially and in any previous work situations. Your pre-university academic record will be strong too, with A-levels (or equivalent) at grade B or above in Maths and either Physics or Chemistry. You should also be on course to achieve at least a 2:1 MEng or MSc degree, or a comparable qualification. Flexibility is important too, as you could be based at any of our sites.
