Product Support Intern, 2016 (10 weeks)

What we are looking for

We’re looking for a product support intern to help us deliver fantastic customer service to Redgate’s software users. Not only will you get the opportunity to learn about our suite of industry leading products and the technologies that underpin them, but you’ll also get a chance to work directly with our customers to help solve real world problems faced by .Net and SQL Database developers.

We'll value you as a full member of the team from the moment you walk through our doors and you’ll have a dedicated mentor who will guide you through all aspects of working in a support team. You’ll also be given the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from all aspects of the business from developers to technical authors to project managers.

  • You have a passion for software and technology.
  • You’re at least a year into your university degree, studying a relevant discipline.
  • You understand technical concepts and can communicate/present them effectively, both in writing and verbally.
  • You’re an excellent problem solver.
  • You have an appreciation of great customer service.
  • You have the confidence to express your own ideas, and to own a project.

What would help?

  • A good knowledge of coding (C# and Java) or databases (SQL or Oracle)
  • Some experience with customer service

What’s the package?

  • You’ll be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours
  • You’ll receive £380 per week
  • You’ll start in June or July for a minimum of ten weeks over the summer holiday
