The Role

Joining us for a twelve month placement within the rapidly expanding Business Process Services area, you will learn how we deliver effective business services to a wide range of clients. The opportunities are wide-ranging and across a variety of locations in the UK including Thornaby, Glasgow, Durham. Your placement could involve developing and delivering operational excellence across our UK BPS clients, supporting internal projects in our Shared Services team, or providing data analysis to support the business in achieving its objectives while focusing on service improvement. On completing the placement, you’ll have gained a wealth of understanding of the business and built a network of contacts. We will look to you to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, effectiveness under pressure and adaptability across a broad spectrum of challenges.

Other opportunities are in our Finance team within BPS, where you will enjoy diverse and interesting work. Providing accounting support to our Contract Accountants, Business Unit Controllers and Commercial Managers, you could focus on the finance function of one major client account or operate across a portfolio of clients. Closely partnering with experienced Accounting and Finance professionals, you could be involved in anything from compiling key management information and budget reviews to the assessment of profit and loss, while growing your financial and commercial skills in multiple areas. You will need to demonstrate a disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving, curiosity to learn and willingness to innovate.
