The Role

The HR Service Centre is the central hub of all HR administration across UB where high volume HR transactional activities are performed within a service delivery framework.

These activities span the employee life cycle from starting to leaving and include changes to terms and conditions and general HR administration.

The Business Support team enable and support the HRSC team by monitoring HRSC performance eg SLA’s, KPI’s and also provide HR reporting to the business.  They have oversight of processes and procedures and maintain and develop the support tools utilised in the HRSC eg MyHR, and work with the centres of excellence on new initiatives.
    

  • Develop complex data /reporting solutions in line with business requirements engaging with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on HRSC team performance against SLA’s, KPI’s and audits.
  • Support HRSM Manager in projects requiring technical expertise.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities across the HRSC.
  • Oversee HR systems administration for Lumesse, MyHR, MyP&D and other systems as required.
  • Coordinate daily activities of administrator ensuring work completed to a high standard and within timescales.
  • Coach and support colleagues to improve their performance.  
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain ongoing communication with all stakeholders e.g. Line Managers and the wider HR community.
  • Operate within HRSC quality standards and controls.
  • Support other teams in the HRSC during times of high volume.
  • Exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
  • Keep up to date with changes in the external environment which may impact UB.
