Internship opportunities

Our Investment and European internship programmes are designed to give you an insight into our global business. Both programmes will give you exposure to different areas of Fidelity and they’re ideal tasters for our full graduate programmes.

Our nine-week summer Investment internship is in Equity Research. To begin with, you’ll shadow our Research Analysts to company meetings and on business trips, which will give you first-hand experience of how they gather data to advise our Portfolio Managers on which companies to invest in. Then you’ll work on a specific research project that will be sponsored by one of our investment professionals, and will present your findings to Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts.

Our flexible European Internship can be taken either over the summer, or as a placement for up to six months, depending on your availability. Throughout your time with us, you’ll gain an insight into our European Sales & Marketing, Business Operations or Investment Management Operations team. You’ll enjoy meaningful project work and exposure to a number of business areas at a UK or European office, depending on your language skills.

On both internship programmes you’ll experience the feeling of excitement at Fidelity and our collaborative environment. Most of all, you’ll gain personal experience of what it’s like to work at a major global investment management company.

Our requirements

On course for a 2.1 or above, you will need a genuine interest in investment, a forward thinking attitude and an ability to look at things from a different angle. With a commitment to acting with integrity, you’ll always keep our customers’ best interests in mind.
