The programme and you

Our internship offers you an all-round experience of Barclays Wealth, the people who make up the business and the skills you’ll need to get on. From day one, you’ll be involved with senior management, build relationships and gain an insight into what we do. And, over the next ten weeks, you’ll build on those skills with classroom-based training and invaluable hands-on experience. In short, it offers you a flying start, before you’ve even begun.

The facts behind the figures

• We will be hiring 35 interns in 2010/11
• These vacancies will be in UK Private Banking and International Private Banking
• The majority of places are available in London with a small number of places in Hong Kong, Singapore and India
• The programme lasts 10 weeks throughout the summer
• We expect 80% of our undergraduates to return to us in a graduate role
• We pay a competitive salary
• The deadline to apply is 30th December 2010, however we’d advise applying as early as possible as demand is great
• Application is online where you’ll complete a numerical and verbal test. From here, there will be a telephone interview followed by a face-to-face assessment
