Internship Programme

Our 8-week Summer Internship Programme will provide you with a fantastic introduction to Investment Management, whichever area of our business you eventually decide to join. It's also a great way to secure a full-time job after you graduate.

We invest heavily in our Internship Programme to make sure it's one of the best around. As well as a detailed introduction to fund management, you can expect the kind of technical and interpersonal skills training that will prepare you for entry into any graduate scheme in our industry.

The work is designed to be challenging and useful. You will be experiencing real responsibility on projects that add significant value to our business. You will also be given specific intern projects designed to broaden your Investment Management knowledge. For example, previous intern groups have completed a fund management simulation where where participants actively manage a fund just like the professionals.

Throughout the programme, you'll also have the chance to attend a wide range of networking events. These will range from social activities with other interns to informal lunch meetings with Schroders employees, managers and board members. Past interns have told us these conversations were an excellent way to get under the skin of the business. They're also an invaluable opportunity to talk to experienced professionals about your interests and possible directions for your future career.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for ambitious self-starters who have a genuine passion for investment management. As long as you can demonstrate your interest in this field, and you're strong academically, you could be from any degree discipline and year of study. We also consider applications from graduates.
