As an independent body, calling on the talents of more than 2,500 people across 11 offices nationwide, we promote value for money for taxpayers by auditing the £200 billion spent by 11,000 local public bodies across vital services including local government, health, community safety and education.

We’re here to make sure that public services are the best they can be. To help improve the lives of millions across the country by ensuring top-class stewardship of public finances. So from housing to health, criminal justice to fire and rescue services, our mission is a pretty big and very important one. We offer three month summer placements in audit and year-out placements across all areas.
