The RateMyPlacement Team
The four of us met in 2003 when we were freshers in the same Hall of Residence at Loughborough University. We all completed 12 month placements in the third year of our degrees, and graduated in July 2007.
Ali Lindsay
- Age: 24
- Hometown: Reading, Berkshire
- Degree: Accounting and Finance
- Placement Experience: He did a 12 month placement at The Bank of England and a summer internship at Deutsche Bank.
- Interests: Keen rugby player, despite his size, and enjoys snowboarding when he can. Loves sparkling water and salad.
- Key Role: Forced into becoming the finances man of the team due to his degree course, and despite the fact he can’t add up. Has been working full time on the business since May 2008, and does a bit of everything!

Oliver Sidwell
- Age: 24
- Hometown: Tring, Hertfordshire
- Degree: Geography and Business Management
- Placement Experience: Completed a 12 month placement working as a Channel Marketing Assistant at Robert Bosch Ltd.
- Interests: Plays cricket, football and darts (Loughborough Uni Darts Champion 2003!) Doesn’t know a thing about computers despite working in a Software Sales Role for 12 months and having his own internet business.
- Key Role: Selling RateMyPlacement to employers, placement officers and just about anyone who’ll listen. Have also been working full time on the business since May 2008.

Ben Smith
- Age: 24
- Hometown: Nottingham
- Degree: Management Science
- Placement Experience: Completed a 12 month placement as E-learning project coordinator at Janssen-Cilag.
- Interests: Keen golfer - he’s represented British Universities, but is distinctly average at most other sports. Was a master of the arm swinging dance until a shoulder operation put an end to that.
- Key Role: Still works full time in his graduate role with Accenture, so is limited to the time he can commit to the business, but still inputs ideas and helps when he can.

Chris Wickson
- Age: 24
- Hometown: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire
- Degree: Management Science
- Placement Experience: 13 month placement with IBM working in a System x Pre-Sales Role.
- Interests: Enjoys watching and playing sport (particularly football and cricket) and travelling. Also has a love of castles and most things historical.
- Key Role: Takes care of most of the website side of things along with Ali, and also like Ali, does a bit of everything. Currently works on the business three days a week until he’s finally free of his graduate job!
