15/05/2008 - RateMyPlacement attend the Spare Room Start Up book launch
On Thursday we nibbled some canapes and sipped some bubbly at our first ever book launch.
23/04/2008 - RateMyPlacement in the final of the HSBC Unipreneurs competition at the BAFTA Theatre in London
Wednesday evening saw the announcement of the winner of the inaugural HSBC Unipreneurs competition.

26/02/2008 - RateMyPlacement meet the judges in the semi-final of the HSBC Unipreneurs competition

20/02/2008 - RateMyPlacement attended the Kingston University CISM Placement Fair
Always a good chance to meet students and companies, especially as it was free.
29/11/2007 - RateMyPlacement sat on the panel for the Barkers/Guardian Internship Debate at the Guardian Newsroom
RateMyPlacement were invited to provide the students perspective in a knowledge sharing session and debate on the relevance of placements and internships in todays recruitment market.
01/11/2007 - RateMyPlacement at the two National Work Placement Exhibitions
RateMyPlacement attended both Exhibitions, the first held in London at Olympia on October 11th, and the second at The NEC in Birmingham on the 1st November.
The Exhibitions were attended by over 8,000 students all looking for work placements, and by over 45 employers and work placement organisations aiming to raise the awareness of their schemes and services.

21/05/2007 - RateMyPlacement win the Loughborough Business Plan competition!
In May 2007 we beat over 30 entrants to win the Loughborough University Business Plan Competition. We were awarded £1,500 and we re-invested all of this back into the development of the site.
