Our tour of the North-West! 1st stop - The University of Leeds

3 weeks after our tour of 9 universities in the Midlands, Ali and I embarked on our next tour of universities, this time to universities in the north west of England!
First stop was the University of Leeds and after a clean run up the M1 we arrived 2 hours early – the kind of punctuality we could have done with on our previous tour!
The first meeting of the week went well and we discussed some really good ideas for the website and the business, a cracking start.
The RateMyPlacement rating on the University of Leeds:
- Weather – 8 / 10 – unexpectedly pleasant, suit and flip-flop weather.
- Grounds – 8 / 10 – lovely buildings and architecture, the business school is a converted school with a modern extension.
- Beer – 8 / 10 – £1.85/pint
- Bird Watching – 7 / 10 – it was rather quiet as uni has finished for the year but those still around kept the standards high.
- The pot noodle test – 10 / 10 - £1.20 for 2… excellent price to kick off the north western tour, make mine a chicken and mushroom.
- University of Leeds scores a very good 41/50.
