You spoke, we listened….
1 year, or 12 months, or 52 weeks, or 365 days (well 366 this year). A lot can happen in a year and this is certainly true for www.RateMyPlacement.co.uk and the 4 of us who run it.
In a year we have seen the launch of RateMyPlacement to Loughborough students where we hounded our friends to leave reviews; it has spread virally around most of the universities in the UK to the point where 22,000 unique visitors have been on the site. In September 2007 we welcomed on board our first company and we now have 15, 8 of whom have come on in the last 3 months. Cause to celebrate? We thought so…
We asked you in a poll what we should do to celebrate, and a landslide 68% of you said that we should go out for a big night in London. That is exactly what we did! OK, so the night was marred for one member of RateMyPlacement for a loss on penalties for a certain North London football team, however the we managed to quickly re-group and drink through this. A few bars and a burger in Paddington, a few more in Carnaby Street and onto a Soho club… A good night all round. Oh and we all got up for work in the morning…
Lets hope our second year is as much of a surprise as our first year…
