If you’ve done student work experience, you maybe owed up to several hundred pounds of tax!
One thing many students aren’t made aware of that your employer will usually be taking tax straight from your placement/internship salary like they do with normal employees.
But you’re not normal, and can often claim it back, resulting in a nice big cheque!
